Post-Click Quiz

In solving a creative challenge for Spotify, we created a custom experience, a personality Quiz, that had scaled to many advertisers across APAC.

The Context K-pop fans are spoilt for choice when it comes to music to the point where they can no longer keep up. They would stick to singers that they are already familiar with or the โ€˜Top Hitsโ€™ playlist for recommendations. How can we get fans to explore new music and genres through Spotifyโ€™s curated playlists?

The Approach To stand out from the music clutter, we wanted to create a shortcut to help fans intuitively discover new music.

Knowing that fans love a quiz from the number of conversations about K-pop quizzes on Twitter, we wanted to match each fanโ€™s personality to a curated Spotify playlist with a similar vibe. However, Twitterโ€™s native products do not support the creation of quizzes.

The solution was a post-click quiz โ€“ a microsite skinned up to look like an extension of the Twitter platform that will not deter fans from clicking away.
